Jeffree Star Magic star concealer

I don’t wear a lot of makeup. I like my skin to look healthy with a glow to it. My makeup routine is very minimal. I like to wear a light layer of foundation and a concealer concentrated on my inner corner. 

I have dark circles that I like to cover to make me look more alive. I have never found any miraculous skincare ingredient to make the darkness gone. The best cure is a good night of sleep. 

I have a lot of issues with concealers. They crease, the coverage is not enough, they look caky, they don’t last, they dehydrate my skin 😫. I never powder my concealer to not dry out my eye area (Hi creasing). I always had fine lines under my eyes that I plum up with my skincare routine and I don’t want any powder to emphasize them. I always finish my AM skincare routine with a heavy coat of sunscreen. In 80% this ruins any concealer, especially with the waterproof one. In holidays, I end up my not wearing any concealer because of my « hardcore » sunscreen. 

Jeffree Star describes his concealer as creamy, high coverage, anti-aging, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, self-setting and long-lasting. A self-setting concealer that reduces the appearance of fines lines is a must for me. I got the shade C3 and the Peach corrector. I was afraid that C3 would be too light but surprisingly it works perfectly. 

Wearing a foundation and concealer on a daily basis helps to filter blue light. There are a couple of studies that show the detrimental effect of blue light on the skin. Iron pigments in makeup filter the blue light.
