SVR A Ampoule Lift the French RETINOL!

Finally, a French brand has launched a retinol serum, it was about time. You will see that this formula is close to perfection, shall I say almost flawless! When I saw the formula I was about to faint because of how good it is.

Anti-aging ingredients

This ampoule deserves to be called anti-aging. It is a powerhouse. It contains retinol, a derivative of vitamin C (3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid), grape seed oil (rich in polyphenol), vitamin E, peptides (palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7, palmitoyl tripeptide-1),

Retinol

The SVR Ampoule Lift contains 0.3% retinol. SVR has been so clever with it because instead of using straight away 0.3% retinol they have divided into 0.1% pure retinol and 0.2% encapsulated retinol. The retinol is encapsulated in phospholipid. Phospholipids are lipids that form cell membranes. The encapsulation ensures a slow release of retinol making it easier to tolerate.

Emollients

This serum is an emulsion and contains very nice emollients, free fatty acid (caprylic/capric triglycerides, squalane, shea butter, vitamin F derivatives ), grape seed oils…Which is important with retinol to support the skin barrier.

Humectants

Glycerin and propanediol mainly.

Notorious allergen

Perfume

Texture

It’s a milky emollient lotion, very pleasant and easy to apply.

My conclusion

If you want to start an anti-aging routine this the product to introduce in your routine. This formula is close to perfection. I recommend using a hydrating serum beneath followed by this ampoule. 0.3% retinol is low strength retinol that won’t be enough to correct sign of aging but it is a perfect serum to maintain and prevent more damage. The encapsulation with phospholipids is simply brilliant. I regret that SVR has used perfume. I highly recommend it.

Thank you for your time.
